My Background:
My love and passion for makeup started off when I was just 8 years old, thanks to my godmother/mentor who has been in the cosmetic world (and currently still is) since the 80’s. She would always bring over and give me makeup from brands she worked with, such as Dior & Lancôme, just to play around with and that’s what started it all.
The older I got, the more I fell in love with makeup. Especially in my teenage years, I loved the confidence it gave me after putting it on, I loved how I was able to use it as a way to express myself creatively but I especially always loved how my friends would always ask me to do their makeup for them in school. I loved making those around me feel as good about themselves as I much as I felt about myself afterwards, it gave me so much joy and happiness. That’s when I soon realized there was nothing else in the world I wanted to do more than to instill confidence and make others feel the best they could possibly be. That’s when I decided I was going to make this my career and headed off to beauty school to obtain my cosmetology license.
